They were asked to be honest and share their thought about what they felt that gained and learned. Keeping with the Growth Mindset they were asked what they found that they needed to do, which will be their 'Next Step' for future work.
Their comments gave really good feedback to the class as well as their teacher, so all of us gained as a result.
Below are three samples of reflection and feedback.

What I would do differently is to change every kind of bullying or abuse of some things. I love animals and in fact I think nearly everyone loves animals. Why do people abuse animals that is what I want to stop.
|
What were some things that you found difficult with your steps to make changes?
What I found difficult is trying to think of what to be a changemaker at. Caleb and I worked really hard on trying to find out what to do until I clicked and watched this video where a down syndrome girl was being cyber bullied so we chose to change cyber bullying.
|
What were the positives of the actions you took?
The positives were that I had a lot of fun working on my changemaker and also going to share it with the class. Our task for our changemakers work was cyber bullying because Caleb and I feel really sorry for the people who do get cyber bullied and have trouble with their lives from this harsh bullying.

I would have done the work instead of talking about doing the work, if my group had done that we would have completed A LOT more.

The thing I found the most difficult was making a start to my project, because at first I didn’t know what we were meant to do.

If I had another opportunity to be a changemaker I would:
Help the organization a lot more by doing more than collecting cans, I would actually ask them what they needed.
