After learning the ten rules of keeping themselves safe at the beach, he students had an opportunity to find out more about the IRB and knee boards that were used to rescue people.
Quintin had an opportunity to take the plug out of the boat, something that not many people had been able to do, he was able to put it back in as well. That was also a rather tricky the to do too.
During the afternoon, there were beach relays in the water, designed to build up some student's self confidence.
At the end of the day, there was a wide range of feedback which will be helpful for the next year's students participation. The general consensus was that it was a good day of learning tied up with some enjoyable activities.
